Chantelle A. PorterA. Traub & Associates Phone: (630) 426-0196 Chantelle is a graduate of The Ohio State University (2003) and graduated from DePaul University College of Law (2006). Chantelle was admitted to practice in 2006. While at DePaul University College of Law, Chantelle received her Family Law Certificate and was the recipient of the Public Interest Law Association Grant - Judge Jeffrey Coman Designation, the Shiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center Grant, and the Dean’s Scholarship. Chantelle is currently an associate at A. Traub and Associates. Practicing all areas of Family Law, Juvenile Criminal Defense, DCFS Abuse and Neglect, Domestic Violence, Orders of Protection, Landlord Tenant Law and Civil Litigation Defense. Chantelle is a court approved Guardian ad litem in the 18th Judicial Circuit. Chantelle is a former supervisor of the DuPage County Public Defender’s Office Juvenile Division where she concentrated her practice on representing juveniles on criminal matters and representing parents and children on abuse, neglect, and dependency matters. Prior to that she was with the Cook County Public Guardian where she represented the best interest of juveniles as attorney and Guardian ad litem on cases of abuse, neglect, and dependency. Chantelle is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Chantelle serves on the Board of Directors, she has served as Chair of the New Lawyer’s Committee and Law Day, member of the Program Planning Committee, and a participant in Judge’s Night. Chantelle has presented as a Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Speaker at the following:
Chantelle is the 2nd Vice President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyer and serves on the Board of the DuPage County Bar Foundation. Chantelle is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Inns of Court-DuPage Chapter.
