Michael J. Drabant is an associate attorney with A. Traub & Associates in Lombard, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Arts in 2005 from The University of Maryland, with a major in Criminology and Criminal Justice. In 2009, he graduated from The John Marshall Law School, where he received his J.D. and LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Taxation, with honors. He is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, and in the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.

During law school Mr. Drabant served as a law clerk for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, Civil Practice Division. In addition, he worked for an estate planning law firm in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to joining A. Traub & Associates, he was an associate attorney with The Fish Law Firm, P.C., in Naperville, Illinois, where he practiced in all areas of civil litigation. In May of 2010, he was published in the Naperville Sun with his article entitled, Having a Will can Save Arguments for Generations.

Currently, Michael J. Drabant focuses his practice on Estate Planning, Estate/Trust Administration, Domestic Relations, and Civil Litigation. He is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association, where he is a participant in the annual Judge’s Nite show. He is also a proud member of his church’s sanctuary choir.
