Attorney Margaret Peggy O’Connell is the Democratic candidate for Circuit Court Judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit in DuPage County. Peggy has been highly recommended by the DuPage County Bar Association consistently in the past years.
The judges and support staff of the Circuit Court of the 18th Judicial Circuit of the State of Illinois are committed to serving the public by providing a fair and efficient system of justice that fosters public trust and confidence. They accomplish this mission by continually improving the facilities, programs, and services provided to the people of DuPage County.
Peggy decided to run for Circuit Court Judge in order for more women and Democrats to be represented on the DuPage County bench. She will ensure that the people of DuPage County are fully represented and will perform her duties as a judge with a comprehensive and open mind through her years of experience as a prosecutor and a private defense attorney.
Currently, Peggy is the Senior Partner at the law firm of A. Traub & Associates, Ltd. and is also a Court-certified Guardian ad Litem for DuPage County and other outlying counties. She is also Vice President of the DuPage County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

New Location to Better Serve Clients in DuPage County Area
A. Traub & Associates is excited to announce that it has relocated its Lombard, Illinois, office to 200 W. 22nd St., Suite 210.
The office is between Finley Road and South Highland Avenue, about a mile east of Interstate 355 and a mile west of Yorktown Shopping Center. The new location is a block west of the firm’s previous Lombard office.
“We invite our previous clients and new clients to visit our new office,” said firm owner Angel M. Traub. “The location may be new, but we offer the same high-quality legal representation that our clients rely on. We are fortunate that we have had the growth to be able to move into a new, and bigger office space.”

Lombard family law firm A. Traub & Associates is pleased to announce they have relocated and expanded their DuPage office in order to better serve their clients’ needs.
The new Lombard law office is located at 100 W. 22nd Street Suite 150, Lombard, IL 60148. The expansion of the office included the addition of a children’s room. This child-friendly space is used as a supervised visitation room for Guardian ad Litem meetings and reunification meetings. Most recently, the children’s room was utilized to facilitate the reunification of a military father and his child.

Lombard family lawyer Chantelle A. Porter, a Senior Associate Attorney at A. Traub & Associates, has been appointed as a member-at-large to the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Board of Governors.
As a member of the Board of Governors, Porter will serve a two-year term. The 27 members on the Board of Governors oversee the operations and management of the ISBA. The Board helps ensure the association adheres to the general policies set by the member assembly. The ISBA is comprised of 33,000 members across the state of Illinois with offices in both Springfield and Chicago. The ISBA provides professional services to Illinois lawyers and legal professionals, and offers educational services to the general public through their website, brochures and distribution of legal information.

O’Connell was selected for this prestigious honor based on Board of Directors’ recommendations and membership nominations.
