Attorney Chantelle A. Porter of A. Traub & Associates Appointed to Illinois CASA Board
CASA was founded in 1993 and is the organizing body for 31 CASA programs in 54 counties in Illinois that recruit, train, and manage over 2,500 CASA volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court. Illinois CASA promotes advocacy so that all children thrive in a safe, permanent, and loving home.
Chantelle has spent most of her career representing children and families. She started as a Guardian ad litem with the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office, representing over 200 children in the foster care system. She then became the supervisor of the DuPage County Public Defender Juvenile Division, representing minors in criminal delinquency proceedings and parents in abuse and neglect cases. She then transitioned into private practice with A. Traub & Associates representing families in divorce and serving as a Guardian ad Litem for children in contested custody cases.

A. Traub & Associates is pleased to announce their completed building renovation and subsequent Arlington Heights office move, located at 634 S. Arthur Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. The office is now located 2 miles south of the old location, about one mile south-east of the Northwest Highway and Arlington Heights Road intersection.
This new building is owned and operated by A. Traub & Associates, allowing them the freedom and creativity to envision and implement the best way to continue to serve clients in the Cook County and surrounding area.

Attorney Margaret Peggy O’Connell is the Democratic candidate for Circuit Court Judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit in DuPage County. Peggy has been highly recommended by the DuPage County Bar Association consistently in the past years.
The judges and support staff of the Circuit Court of the 18th Judicial Circuit of the State of Illinois are committed to serving the public by providing a fair and efficient system of justice that fosters public trust and confidence. Peggy decided to run for Circuit Court Judge in order for more women and Democrats to be represented on the DuPage County bench. Most counties have closed their courthouses to all non-emergency matters including Cook County, DuPage County, Kane County, Will County, and Lake County. A. Traub & Associates Moves to New Office in Lombard, Illinois
New Location to Better Serve Clients in DuPage County Area
A. Traub & Associates is excited to announce that it has relocated its Lombard, Illinois, office to 200 W. 22nd St., Suite 210.
The office is between Finley Road and South Highland Avenue, about a mile east of Interstate 355 and a mile west of Yorktown Shopping Center. The new location is a block west of the firm’s previous Lombard office.
“We invite our previous clients and new clients to visit our new office,” said firm owner Angel M. Traub. “The location may be new, but we offer the same high-quality legal representation that our clients rely on. We are fortunate that we have had the growth to be able to move into a new, and bigger office space.”
